This and That

Sorry I haven't been posting new blogs this week. My daughter Lindsay had her wisdom teeth out on Monday.  She is EVOLVED because she only had three wisdom teeth. Fortunately, her recovery has been a cinch. She even begged me to go shopping with her the very next day!

Just a few odds and ends to share with you today. Remember my blog about The Best Dang Cookies in the World?  I realize you will probably never know they are the BEST because
you're exhausted reading about ME making them, and will never muster enough energy to try the recipe.

My two good friends, Debbie and Dianna fit into that category, so I sent them some of MY best dang cookies in the world. I'm glad I did because they sent me these pictures:
Here are Dianna's gals Delaney and Mallory with the cookies!

Here they are eating them!
Not sure Delaney likes the BEST dang cookies in the world, but Dianna assured me her nine-year-old was engrossed in a TV show, and not reacting to my cookies.
Here's my friend Debbie eating her cookie:

Deb will hate that I shared this picture with the masses,
but I love seeing MY cookies in different mouths in different STATES!
The verdict: YES...these ARE the Best Dang Cookies in the WORLD!!!
Seems I'm the best dang mother in the world, too!
My daughter made me her amazing pancakes for Mother's Day
Hey, I need to do a blog about the Best Dang Pancakes in the World!
I promise, I WILL in the future...
but first let me share Lindsay's Mother's Day Card.
I have always told the kids I only want hand-made cards and my favorite flowers for
Mother's Day.
Lindsay picked my delicious pink tulips from our front yard and made me this card:
She played off my cookie blog!

Then, my son came home with these in his hand:
Lilacs are always in full bloom here on Mother's Day.
They smell SO PRETTY!
He's been bringing me lilacs since he was a little boy.
An expensive painting could never be as rich...
As hand-picked flowers from my children.
It must be that love sparkle.

Remind me to thank the neighbor with the lilac bush...

hello ms. Jill this is lyn Christian's wife. I'm also your fan my husband and I are a tag team in doing our blogs. I can't help but have tears in my eyes as I was browsing through the nice pictures and with your daughter doing pancakes and giving you a card hmmm...there so sweet! It's so nice to see children loving there Mom. Trully being a mother is a highly skilled profession it is done because of love and no pay check can compensate the time that you are giving to your children. The greatest reward and priceless reward I must say is when your children loves you back! Give my hugs and kisses to your children ms. Jill those simple pictures touched my life today! God bless you and your happy family!
