I know the holidays are over,
but I'm still clinging to the magic.
You know I have turned into a photo fanatic,
and after winning that photo contest last
summer, I searched out more exciting contests.
I found a fun Christmas photo competition
on Family Vacation-Getaways.com.
I entered three pictures including the
photo below of our friends Lisa and Bill
strolling in a snowstorm when we
visited Chicago for Christmas shopping
in December.
I learned this morning, that the photo won
Best of Category
in in the Teen and Adult Division.
While that thrilled me,
the best part was looking over
ALL the winning photos!
I promise, you won't be able to stop smiling after
Photography awes me...
a split second in time
captured in full emotion
FOREVER.
Creative expression for the photographer,
and eternal memories and
enchantment for the viewer.

Congrats on winning the contest Jill. I remember that guy, he's the map-man right? Great shot. When you become a big shot photographer, will you still talk to us little bloggers lol.
