Hope all you moms had a wonderful Mother's Day.
I enjoyed mine with my daughter Lindsay.
My baby graduated from college on Friday!
She received one of a thousand Communication Degrees...
And, they read EVERY name.
The family was SO proud!
Both our kids are Michigan State University students.
Well, Lindsay is now an alumna just
like her dad.
Family and friends gathered for dinner
after listening to 1,000 names called.
Dad said, "WHY did she grow up so fast?"
That was Friday...
On Sunday, Lindsay asked me to drive back down
to spend Mother's Day with her and
take some photos by the Sparty Statue.
Sparty is an icon on the MSU campus.
To me, he looks like a tall naked man,
Butt....
Grads waited in line to take photos
by the bare boy.
He IS a hunky man of steel
and the girls climbed up close.
These gals have been friends since high school.
It's sad for Lindsay to part ways as she goes off to
grad school next fall.
She wants to be a high school guidance counselor...
perfect for her!
Just one little feel...
WE MADE IT!!!
The spring flowers were peaking,
so the girls tiptoed into the tulips.
The saddest part for Lindsay is saying goodbye
to Spartan Football.
She attended every home game during her four years
because...
Her dear cousin Kevin was on the team.
He was in the audience rooting for Lindsay
on her graduation day.
Good thing he was because we needed Kevin's brawn
to move Sonny out of the dorm.
Didn't we just move him in???
If the year goes THAT fast, why does he need so much stuff?
Mark is SOOO happy to be a sophomore.
He LOVES college!
Now he's home with this mountain of laundry.
I don't think he did it the entire year.
It's gonna be a LOOOONG summer...

Mothers Day?!? I started to panic there Jill until I remembered that we celebrated mothers day in April over here, can't wait for fathers day...
A big congrats to Lindsay on graduating, you must be so proud of her right now. If anything ever happens to Sparty (god forbid) I am officially putting my name forward as a stand in!
Ryan, you are all ready for statue-hood with your beautifully waxed chest! That photo still cracks me up SO MUCH!! Hope your break is going well with those adorable boys.
Wow what an accomplishment! Congrats to your daughter and really your whole family on this big feat! Well we know what your son will be doing all Summer! Funny!
Unfortunately my beautifully waxed chest is no longer so beautiful in fact it's all itchy and stubbly now, apologies to anyone eating breakfast!!!
