You're not on the wrong blog.

I decided to change things up a bit

and bring my blog

UP-TO-DATE

with me at age 54!

I wanted to do this for ages,

but I don't know anyone to take a new

photo of me.

Friends complain that I am RARELY

in any of the photos.

That's because I take them!

I LOVE that because then

I don't have to look good.

And, when I hand my camera

to someone to include me in the photo...

they clam up

and can't figure out how to focus.

So I MADE my daughter

Lindsay take these photos.

She couldn't focus either.

She grumbled and groaned her way through

the shoot and I could just TELL

she wasn't at the right angle most of the time.

This is not a pleasant squat!

That's my old Pentax film camera in the photos.

I lovingly took ALL photos with

that camera when the kids were growing up,

but I much prefer digital now.

Dang, some of these photos are dippy.

Me:  Lindsay, don't shoot me below the

waist because I'm only wearing these white

shorts because they're roomy enough

to squat down by flowers.

Lindsay:  Just crop out the shorts!

But it's still a goofy shot.

So there you go...lots of pictures of

me that should fulfill you for awhile.

I chose the header photo because I was

really looking at that flower.

I was sweating by the time I got home...

so relieved I don't have to do that again for

Hmmmm...let's say 20 years.

I like being on the OTHER

side of the camera!
